Type 2 diabetes and fainting, diabetics generally complain of getting fainted which cause due to an insufficient amount of glucose level that can’t reach the brain.

Diabetes leaves a body in depriving condition and one such condition is fainting. A fixed amount of glucose level is required in the body and also the brain requires it. When the brain does not receive an adequate amount of glucose required for its functioning, it leads to fainting. In some cases, if not treated properly, such a scenario of remaining unconscious for a longer time, can also lead to coma and death. Treatment is required at the right time and attempts should be made to start early in case of type 2 diabetes.

Symptoms of Fainting

Fainting occurs when there is an inadequate supply of blood to the brain. Sweating, feeling dizzy, blurred vision are some of the most common symptoms of fainting. Sudden shocks can also cause fainting.

Many times, too much medication also causes fainting. Fainting can be dangerous when a person stops breathing, is a diabetic patient and has very low blood sugar levels.
